In this module we assess the geo-political, socio-economic climate and inherent risks in your destination of travel. All aspects of trip planning are covered including money, communications, insurance, essential documents, technology and personal belongings.  This module also covers essential health aspects including local medical facilities, medication, pregnancy and repatriation.  You will have a clear understand of what to pack to ensure that you are adequately prepared when you arrive at your destination as well as what to leave at home to ensure your personal safety.    

In this module we explore how you can protect yourself on the ground and in the air. Road traffic accidents are often the biggest risk to you when you travel and many travellers are unaware of the risks of crime on public transportation and in particular when flying.  You will learn how to reduce your own risk of being involved in a motor-vehicle accident, hire-car safety and how to protect yourself and your belongings.  This module also covers car-jacking, abduction, and how to improve your own safety when using modern car-sharing apps.

In this module you will learn about the specific risks one might encounter in the hotel environment.  This includes  fire safety, hotel room intruders, unwanted attention, data security breaches or  theft of your belongings. We will help you to identify and source a safe hotel including what key safety and security features to look out for, as well as handy items to take with you to improve your safety and security. You will understand what you can expect of a hotel and it's staff to meet it's obligations to keep you safe as well as strategies for asserting your requirements to ensure that your safety is not compromised.

In this module, travellers will be able to assess the necessity for a business trip and take appropriate measures to safeguard their physical and mental well-being.  The module covers all aspect of COVID-19 related travel risks and how the risk of infection can be reduced at each stage of the journey.  Travellers are better prepared before, during and after their trip to keep themselves, their loved ones and their colleagues safe and well. This module is also accompanied by a COVID-19 Managers Assistance Pack to enable employers to better support their business travellers.

In this module we look at your destination through both the legal and cultural lenses and how you might be received and perceived as you travel. We explore the differences one might encounter and how you can fit-in to your new surroundings. This module provides specific advice for female or LGBTQ+ visitors to the region, and in particular tackles sexual harassment and homophobia. You will also learn some interesting facts about cross-cultural dynamics and how to connect rather than clash with the local community.

In this module we will help you to cultivate a safe environment for both yourself and your colleagues when travelling on business or partaking in leisure activities. We explore how differing cultural attitudes, meeting etiquette, dealing with culturally different colleagues and peers and how to safely conduct both formal and informal engagements.  This module also tackles difficult subjects such as inappropriate behaviour, misuse of hierarchy, drink spiking, dating and how to handle a host of challenging situations which may arise when travelling.
