Carolyn Pearson

Carolyn Pearson, CEO & Founder

After a 20+ year career in leading technology teams for  brands such as ITV, Sony Music, KLM, the BBC and easyJet, Carolyn left her corporate career to launch maiden-voyage in 2008.  She holds a degree in Business & IT, an MBA and has completed the Cranfield School of Management Advance Development Programme in Leadership.  Carolyn speaks fluent Dutch having spent six years living in the Netherlands. 

Carolyn’s main tasks are building our strategic partnership, connecting with amazing women and checking out beautiful hotels around the world.

Erica Frazier

Erica Frazier, Operations Manager

Erica joined in July 2016 as their Operations Manager. Before joining, she worked for a company specialising in gender diversity to get more women to reach their potential and go as far as they can and choose in their corporate career; with the overall aim to achieve gender balanced boardrooms. There, her role was to develop and grow all the various arms of the business from an operational capacity and as such supported over 4000 women through the talent pipeline via the programmes and events she developed and delivered.

Erica will be working as Carolyn’s ‘right hand woman’ and looks forward to using her strengths to drive Maiden-Voyage’s growth to deliver even more for it's members and continue to make business travel safe and social.

Erica enjoys holidays with her husband James and step children, George and Sophie and the Algarve is a popular choice as they have a shared family holiday home over there! Other than that, Croatia, Crete and Sorrento are on the hit list and Vegas for her fortieth!

Lyndsey Falkingham

Lyndsey Falkingham, Personal Assistant to Carolyn Pearson

Lyndsey joined in October 2016 as Carolyn's PA. Before joining, she enjoyed an 11 year career within the pensions world as a PA and Secretarial Manager.

It was in the Summer of 2016 that Lyndsey decided there must be more to life than pensions! She then handed her notice in and found her perfect line of business - a global business travel network for professional women.

Lyndsey's main focus is to take as much pressure off of Carolyn as she can, freeing up much of her time to enable her to bring home the bacon! She hopes to bring lots of her skills from her previous PA role to the team and be a huge success to the future of

Sunshine breaks are a must for Lyndsey. She holidays in Spain every year with partner Jack and son Harry.

Dream travel destination: No question, the Maldives... I will get there one day!

Helen Swift

Helen Swift, Finance Manager

Helen is a qualified accountant and has worked with numerous businesses which now means that she brings an abundance of skills with her to maiden-voyage to help guide and advise the business in this exciting phase of growth and development.
When she is not counting beans, Helen (along with her husband) has built 2 houses and enjoys travelling, rugby and skiing.!

Nicole Nisbett

Nicole Nisbett, Membership Co-ordinator

Having lived around the world, Nicole understands and appreciates the importance of safety when travelling solo, especially as a woman. Nicole speaks French, Spanish, Arabic and Italian and is always looking to master a few more. Her goal now is to ensure every member is making the most out of Maiden-Voyage’s unique networking services and female friendly hotel recommendations, as well as taking care of the fantastic global network of ambassadors.

Rheanna-Marie Hall

Rheanna-Marie Hall, Junior Editor

Before joining Maiden Voyage, Rheanna graduated from Oxford University with a degree in English Language and Literature, and gained journalism and editorial experience with companies and brands such as the London 2012 Olympics, Closer Magazine, and The Writer. Now she oversees all of Maiden Voyage’s content - from feature blogs to marketing packs - writing, editing, and publishing respectively.

As well as content, Rheanna looks after Maiden Voyage’s social media, and spends most of her day switching between Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, welcoming members, sharing travel news, and sourcing new contacts. Her aim is to start bigger conversations every day, connecting more women and giving Maiden Voyage an even louder voice.

Dream travel destination: Iceland! And Cape Town looks amazing too.

Gayle McCabe

Gayle McCabe, Designer and Web Editor

Following a succcessful career in banking, Gayle decided to leave the rat race and follow her dream to re-train as a graphic designer. That was over 7 years ago and hasn’t looked back since. Not only does she design anything for print, she provides a successful web editing, email marketing service.  

As Online Editor at Maiden Voyage, Gayle keeps the website’s hotel structure up to date as well as designing regular newsletters. Gayle loves to connect with other like minded business women, near or far.

Sandra Ellington

Sandra Ellington, Hotel Trainer

Sandra has over 20 years experience in the field of learning and development.  After enjoying a progressive career in the Hotel Industry with Swallow Group and Whitbread plc, Sandra became a freelance specialist in people development.  With a degree in Applied Consumer Sciences and a post graduate Diploma in People Management (CIPD), Sandra works with many UK businesses predominantly in the service sector.
